Food & Beverage

At our parks and lodges, Food and Beverage positions range from front of house positions to back of house positions. From grab-and-go to fine dining to steakhouses, the variety of options for you to explore work in is vast with the Food and Beverage department at Xanterra. Whether you’re more interested in schedule options that support off-time experiences, or a path to a career, Food and Beverage can be a very good fit. Your perfect dining environment is waiting for you!


After a day spent exploring our parks and lodges, guests look forward to a clean and comfortable place to rest up for the next days’ adventure. Our Housekeeping department works behind-the-scenes to make sure our guests are well cared for and happy, just like we would in our own homes. You will take pride in creating a ‘home away from home’ for guests. From being a Room Attendant to a Porter keeping our lobbies clean, there are many opportunities to choose from within our Housekeeping department.

Maintenance & Engineering

Members of our Maintenance and Engineering department do it all; from troubleshooting to preserving our rich history and being stewards of our iconic lodges, hands-on skills are needed to get the job done right. There are a variety of positions at our parks and lodges that range from skilled technicians to skilled trades.





Frequently Asked Questions

Our operations are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will be expected to be as flexible as possible. Work schedules are determined by department supervisors based on the location, season, and business needs.

Uniforms will vary per location, role, and season. If hired, you will be provided with a list of items you may need to bring (such as black shoes for Food & Beverage staff). When you arrive, you will be provided with your uniform.

All employees will receive training on COVID-19 safety and sanitation protocols with more comprehensive training for our teams with frequent guest contact including Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Public Area Department, Hotel Operations, and Security. Employee pre-shift meetings will be conducted in areas that allow for appropriate physical distancing between employees. Hand sanitizer will be available at appropriate key locations and employees will be required to wash their hands after clocking in and throughout their workday.

All Xanterra properties are zero-tolerance, drug-free work-places. Pre-employment or periodic drug testing may be required depending on essential functions of the job.

Xanterra hires for a wide variety of positions, and depending on the position, previous relevant experience may or may not be necessary. However, a strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills are required.
